Batch converter 5.0 serial

Location: Tokyo, Japan. I just used the Batch Converter to dither a dozen files from 32 to 16 bit. Opening the files upon completion, I discover that the files no longer have any waveform. I'd say they've been erased completely but each one still shows a specific time and size in mb. Location: United States. This happened to me once when I had the batch converter, but it was so long ago that I don't recall.

I can suggest that in the future, save your processed files to another folder so the originals are protected. I also suggest that you upgrade the version if you haven't already. I would like to have the Batch converter again, but my serial number won't work on my new XP computer. Sony won't help because I lost my credit card purchase information for SF 5.

Grant , Apr 18, Thanks, Grant. Good advice, but it may be too late for this particular project. A lot of work down the drain, unless someone can come up with a fix.

If i install it without an previous installed version of the BatchConverter, it ask me for a serial number. If i enter my serial from SoundForge i get an error message and i can't use the new BatchConverter.

If i install it over an old version, i have no problem with the new build. Is it possible to get a working serial number for the new build? It worked automatically for me. I didn't have to enter anything. BTW, now the converter works great. I use it all the time. I too have attempted to install 5.

You are probably entering an activation code that you were given for a previous installation. Please call and we can assist you. I don't talk about the activation code 3Dxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx , i mean the real serial number 3D-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx. The old BatchConverter5 can be installed without an serial number but not the version 5a. Only if i install the old BatchConverter5 before the latest version 5a, the new build can be activated without entering an serial number. Now install the BatchConverter5a and you must enter a serial number and if you try the same with the old BC, it don't ask for the s.

Ted, Sorry pal but there is a major problem here. A clean install of 5. I never received a serial for Batch Converter at all. Since I couldn't get 5. I installed 5. All is well But 5. I recall using my Soundforge 5. Never ever had to ever enter a serial at startup on 5. Do we need a serial or not? Or was the original Batch Converter 5. I downloaded and used this thing cause it was free. I absolutely no desire to purchase it.

These tools should have been included with Soundforge from the start. It is ridiculous to have to get "another" app just to batch a few files once and a while.
