The pair leap aboard a mine cart that is powered by elemental energy , using it to unlock the door that would allow them to exit the caves.
Successful, they find Onua is waiting at the door, but the two Toa Nuva are attacked by Lerahk. Onua sends Pohatu to go and warn Tahu whilst he tackles Lerahk. Onua is knocked down by Lerahk, and lands on a weak section of floor, causing him to fall into the chamber below.
Onua makes his way through the mines of Onu-Wahi, fighting numerous infected Rahi and avoiding the constant tremors that shake the area. His effort is made even more tiring with the presence of weight locks that block several passageways. He eventually finds Lerahk in a large chamber. However, the Rahkshi is inside a protective barrier, leaving it free to attack Onua at will. Onua destroys the barrier by blocking the exhaust shafts with large stones, which are then propelled by the exhaust and strike the cylindrical capacitor hanging above the Rahkshi.
After six strikes, the cylinder falls and crushes Lerahk. Meanwhile, in Le-Wahi , Gali finds Lewa, who reveals that the Rahkshi have been spotted near Le-Koro , but there's no way of getting to them as all the Le-Matoran have been captured, deactivating his Suva. Gali sends him to find the missing Matoran, and he does so, exploring the huge expanses of jungle in search of them. With his Suva active, he teleports deeper into the jungle, making his way across an obstacle course of dying vines, trees and platforms.
Riding up on the sails of a windmill, he descends into the swamp using a balloon lift, where he sights Panrahk. Climbing back up into the treetops, he follows a Gukko bird to where Panrahk is waiting, and the two duel on rafts in the middle of the swamp. Lewa destroys Panrahk's raft, killing the Rahkshi. Lewa celebrates his victory as he spots a yellow krana.
Pohatu arrives in Ta-Wahi to see Takua explaining to Tahu that the mask he saw earlier was the Mask of Light, and the Turaga sent him to search for the seventh Toa. However, one of the creatures stole the Mask before heading to Ta-Koro to destroy it. Tahu leaps onto the lava board formed by his Magma Swords and chases the Rahkshi down the lava river. After a long pursuit, Tahu hits Kurahk and it slams into a cliff face, destroying itself and releasing the mask. On February 10th, , YouTube user Vahkiti host of channel The Beaverhouse, and co-admin of the BioMedia Project content archival fansite streamed a copy of an Alpha build of the game.
It was emailed to a fellow admin of BioMedia Project "JuniorMasterBuilder" by an anonymous source, with Vahkiti's co-host of his YouTube Channel speculating on-stream that the source may have been an ex-Lego or Saffire employee. Due to the found version being in its alpha stages, there are a few differences from the clips leaked previously. The main differences being some textures and the main menu in DeepBrick's video not being present, a debug screen in its place. Thanks to this, the other levels of the game are now playable.
An ARG was conducted by Vahkiti and his staff from late April to early May teasing that the team had acquired the final Beta beta created by Saffire and would be releasing it on May 12th. A Twitter account managed by Vahkiti called "ThiccBricc" a parody of DeepBrick would send cryptic messages about the Beta, up until the inevitable release on May 12th in conjunction with the first episode of Liam Robertson's newest video series "Game History Secrets," featuring the game and revealing to the public that Liam Robertson was the one who managed to find the Beta for The BioMedia Project.

Together these two beings were able to defeat the Manas and advance further into Mangaia. However, the realm of shadows could not allow such powerful beings of good inside. It split the Toa Kaita apart, back into individual Toa.
The Toa next encountered the Shadow Toa , beings who looked exactly like the Toa Mata, and who were just as strong. The Toa fought long and hard with these new-found foes. They eventually managed to defeat them by realizing the shadows were a part of them, and absorbed their essence. Finally, the Toa Mata made it into the heart of Mangaia, where Makuta resided.
Above their heads was a swirling mass of biomechanical limbs. When Makuta revealed himself, the form he took was a completely infected Matoran wearing a Kanohi Hau. This greatly confused the Toa, but Makuta quickly changed his form, combining with the swirling mass above their heads. This new form wore his infected Hau, and had several tentacles.
Tahu realized that the only way to defeat him was to combine their powers. Each Toa blasted him with elemental energy. The mass of limbs exploded, scattering it all over Mangaia. The mass of limbs exploded, scattering it all over the Mangaia. Makuta's final words were; "You cannot destroy me! For I am nothing. Takua witnessed the entire battle. After the Makuta was defeated, a chamber opened in the deepest area of Mangaia. Curious, Takua walked inside.
Inside was a massive sphere that had several smaller chambers all around it. Takua looked inside one and saw a mysterious creature.
It saw Takua looking at it, then hatched from its nest. The rest hatched soon after. Fearing for his life, Takua ran. He stumbled upon a pedestal with a hole in it. A chisel that Turaga Onewa had given him earlier fit perfectly. Takua was surrounded by a shield and floated upwards, escaping from those strange creatures.
The shield took him back to the shore of Ta-Wahi, where Turaga Vakama was waiting. The Turaga talked to him, and was relieved that he was uninjured.
